Su presentación continuó en el siguiente orden: Marcus, Love train, Rollercoaster love, half ton son, sloth my friend, age of hysteria, rocky dennis poem, 19 minus 17, Express Photo, true peruvian y finalizó con show me the way. - Radio Analogo

"3 dudes and a mullet"

Bio

3 Dudes & a Mullet's beginning goes back about 5 years, when Fish (lead vocals, guitar and ukulele), Miots (bass, violin percussion, clavichord, oboe), Poni (everything Miots doesn’t want to play) and Bueno (drums and percussion), decided to team up to play their favorite cartoon show themes, such as: Alf, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Thundercats, G-Force, Silverhawks…which they consider to be master pieces, and were unable to find on Napster or anywhere else.

Inspired by characters such as Mr. Miyagi or the Goonies, their first gig was in a school festival and, still nameless, right before stepping on stage they figured it’d be logical to be presented as 3 Dudes & a Mullet, thereby honoring the superb mullet Fish was sporting (they were, however, presented as “3 dudes and a mule”).

In 2008, they ended up winning third place in the “Vive Cuervo & Roll” band contest, and they released "Analytical Geometry" ; a short EP featuring hip hop, rap beats, electronic sequences, 80's pop and rock.

By 2009, they teamed up with Maurizio Terracina and Bonzz, from Hello Seahorse! to record and produce "We did not lose…we just didn’t win", an EP that due to personal reasons never saw daylight.

In 2010 they participated in another band contest by Universia, this time winning first place.

Throughout all these years, the band has had a considerable music style and influences evolution; their music is now more folk/country driven still with a hint of pop.
Their debut album "Better now, Always yes", released in early 2011, is an entirely self-produced example of this new sound. The album consists of twelve original tracks, recorded and mixed by 3 Dudes & a Mullet, and mastered by Andrés Azpiri.
