Described by Absolute Radio's Sarah Champion as "Upbeat Indie-pop which ticks all the right boxes" 3hour week are a band from the North of England who have been "tipped for 2012" by BBC introducing due to their fine blend of meaningful lyrics, catchy melodies and an energetic performance.


3hour week have been performing their energetic music across the country for the past two years and have subsequently created a loyal fan-base. The band recorded their debut EP at 2fly studios in Sheffield with platinum selling producer Alan Smyth. Last summer the band were able to secure a slot at Sheffield’s tramlines festival as well as playing at the Fiddler’s Elbow in Camden during the 2011 Camden Crawl. The band have been “tipped for 2012” by BBC introducing and as a result of this were invited to Abbey Road studios to take part in the 2012 BBC introducing master classes. They have also achieved notable radio airplay through various student stations, BBC introducing and have had two of their songs played nationally on Absolute Radio.
