Biography

3molPlaut has been performing for Low-German audiences since 2006. 3molplaut, which translated means 3 times flat (flat – common term for Low-German) are Vern and Christina Neufeld and Ken Sawatzky.
All 3 have roots in Paraguay, South America, and now call Manitoba home.
They share a passion for Low-German and comedy. 3molPlaut has been a regular at Manitoba playwright Wilmar Penner’s Plautdietsch variety nights, as well as performing at a number of functions at the Mennonite Heritage Village and numerous other small and large venues across Manitoba. Currently they are busy promoting their newest CD “Plautdietsche Wiehnacht” (Low-German Christmas), which was released October 2010.

Although their main focus is on Low-German, they also perform in English, German and Spanish, and are available for bookings at large and small events, aniversaries, Birthday parties etc.
