3rd above comprises of 3 members, vocalists Jodie Geange and Julie James and Guitarist/Vocalist Jonathan Geange. 3rd above have been performing around Queensland for the past 7 years.
As seen on Australia's Channel Nine nationally televised show "Starstruck", 3rd above were chosen to perform from an auditioning pool of over 3000 performers. Winning the audience vote from their heat and competing in the show's Final.
3rd Above have a wide mix of influences. Anything from Tonic, Sheryl Crow and right through to gospel.
3rd Above's strength is found in their songs, straying away from the typical heart break song format and preferring to write of life experiences.
