3rd Degree is a versatile Boston born rapper.
Born Christopher Alves, 3rd Degree has been headlining the rap game in Boston since the age of 12 when he knew he wanted to become a cunning artist. Born in Boston to a loving mother and a neglectful father, trouble broke out in the home early. Always having to fend for himself, Chris has developed an unmatched level of drive and ambition. People keep saying hip-hop is dead and the direction is lame but he is here to change that. Growing up in Boston's Hyde Park neighborhood he has experienced the streets first hand and has noticed a void in the Boston hip-hop community. 3rd Degree has made it his grind to try and fill that void with his own lyrical genius.
When the pressure is on, 3rd Degree is at his best weaving words together better than a spider, or knocking you back with punch line after punch line. If you want to dance, laugh, or just relax you don't need to look any further because 3rd Degree has it all and always has. However it wasn't until he turned twelve, that he realized he could take rapping to a professional level, when his friend asked him to freestyle at school. His lyrics are from the heart and speak to the struggles of youth today.
