At the end of each edition, the diatribe has a "love it or hate it" segment. In this segment, one of the podcast correspondants recalls seeing 3Two performing at an open mic. And although sans Dj for that particular performance, Josh Johnson calls 3Two's solo stage performance "incredible" and states that he is "something special and definitely worth checking out" - Denver Diatribe podcast #40
The latest release from 3Two may have been recorded in this decade, but with songs like "Backspin," which features a throwback robot voice and laser-beam sound effects perfect for breakin', and "Roll Bounce," an ode to Skate City, where preteens learned to show out, the rapper pays homage to the original funk and atmosphere of '80s and '90s hip-hop. The MC's flow is more on the melodic side, with punchlines peppering tracks like "War Machine," which is dedicated to Iron Man's best superhero friend. Made popular in Marvel Comics, War Machine becomes 3Two's alter ego on wax as he takes on rival MCs and promises to get his rescue on. Overall, Prix Fixe is an easy and entertaining listen for old and new heads alike. - Denver Westword

3Two is a solo emcee hailing from Denver,CO. Being born and raised in almost the middle of the map allowed 3Two (otherwise known as Chris Bennett) to gain influences from all across the country. Being a student of the eclectic styles that flourished in the early and mid 90's, 3Two takes his direction from the likes of everything from A Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul, to the Pharcyde, and DJ Quik while also finding much of his inspiration in the ever emerging underground emcees of today such as The Blue Scholars, the Grouch and Living Legends, as well as PackFM and RA The Rugged Man. 3Two has always believed in unity within all of hip-hop's elements and does his best to pay homage to each because to him, hip-hop is family. He Prides himself on his ability to blend organic soulful rhythms with catchy synthesized melodies and match them with lyricism which is both witty, and universally relatable. His recently released EP entitled '3Two Presents: the Prix Fixe EP' 3Two attempts to transcend the cliches in which swag is more important than substance and seeks to take his audiences on a musical journey with each song thats played, each track thats laid and each rhyme thats made. 3Two's music is hip-hop from the heart; for the regular people. The ones who still have faith in the music, who still have faith in the culture, and who still have faith in the art. His original sample free beats, paired with an energetic stage presence blend together to form his captivating live show which he has shared on stages with Mac Lethal, Gift Of Gab, Sweatshop Union, Classified, and Kidz in the Hall. Also, he has taken His talents on the road, performing In Pittsburgh, PA,Fort Collins, CO, Colorado Springs, CO and he has also teamed with Kalyn Heffernan and Wheelchair Sports Camp on a southbound tour through Texas.
3Two takes the music back to the times where music came before money, and originality was the name of the game. 3Two has come to be one of the most well rounded emcees to come from the box state and seeks to share his enchanting rhythms with the world one stage at a time.
