"42 King"

Hey hey! 42 King! A Stadium Punk Rock band. Jumpstart is their 4th single and by far the most killer. They tracked the entire song to a 16-track tape machine at a studio in Echo Park, CA. Spotify put Jumpstart on their ‘New Punk Tracks’ playlist. - Punktastic

"There is only one way up for the band and it’s up"

It’s just too easy for the gang in 42 KING. The band makes modern rock as smooth and easy as your girl’s newly shaved legs. Dynamic, driven, supple, and oh so fascinating, the trio kicks it where they want, however they’d want. It’s up to you to meet them for the showdown.

‘Jumpstart’ is another stepping stone to that great radio heaven where the band wants to play, tour, and “get rich” like all the rockstars do. That’s ambition for ya, and from what we hear so far in the past year, that might come true, right quick.

The Kentucky and Tennessee stock ‘good ole boys’ come with chips on their shoulders, riffs from their hearts, and rock n’ roll bleeding from their veins.

There’s only one way for the band, and it is ‘up’.

They’ve only released 2 singles so far, but the rebel-yell is strong in this band. Kurt Collins, Tucker Krishock, and Sam Ward aren’t afraid of bare-knuckle hard work. They love their fans, and they’ll do almost anything to make it worth while.

As Kurt once stated: “Long live Rock N’ Roll. Long live 42 King.”

Elvis would have been proud.

Go get’em boys. - Come Here Floyd

"Don’t split on 42 King. They are the band to watch"

It’s been a long time since we’ve had rock’n’roll like this. 42 King show that plain and simple guitar music is making a comeback on new song ‘Split’. Now, don’t mistake simple for bad; this is great music. 42 King know how to craft a good guitar song, and ‘Split’ illustrates this perfectly. Great, stadium-ready hooks, fantastic, powerful vocals, booming drums; this band understand how to make a rock song.

The band clearly love making music. As the accompanying music video shows, this is a band that live and breathe studio-life. This latest track is also mixed by three times Grammy winner Warren Riker. That polished, vintage sound isn’t a happy little accident. Rock’n’roll lives hard in these boys; their name references the age of which Elvis Presley died. Those are some big shoes to fill! With only three singles released to date and already amassing Spotify streams in the hundreds of thousands, 42 King are clearly the band to watch this year. - Born Online Music

"Enjoy what you do"

Kicking the can down the street. That’s always a hot topic. Well, it just comes up as a relevant part of discussion, when the idea of ‘responsibility’ is up for display. We all say we do our utmost, to uphold ‘responsibilities’. It’s about honor sometimes, and many time, about holding a personal brand, to scrutiny and winning.

People have to trust you. Especially in work. The person next to you, or the partners you have lined up, need to feel that you’ll come ‘through’.

Many can’t keep this up.

Many can.

Some just ‘squeak’ by.

Some are tanks, and just keep going.

We all aspire to be the latter, no?

But it’s a constant battle to maintain that order. It’s easier to lose that trust in one minute, than in building it.

‘Split’ is a single from the band of core duos, Kurt Collins and Tucker Krishock. The song is not punk, but a hybrid of radio rock pop with blues elements. It’s fun, and it’s a light and airy song that certainly has its place.

But we get it.

The guys are all about ‘balance’, ‘enjoying life’, and ‘doing the things they are passionate’ about.

And there’s nothing that can get in your way, if you do.

In that sense, they’re definitely not kicking the can down the street. - Come Here Floyd

Still working on that hot first release.
