44 Down is made of four real guys playing real music for real people. The band wasn't built by a record label, wasn't handed opportunity on a silver platter, they're out there busting their ass day after day, putting their blood, sweat, and tears into the music they love. They emphasize on being diverse and touching on every part of the musical spectrum. When you go to see 44 Down you will not just see 4 guys playing their songs, you'll get undeniable energy from all parts of the band with hard-hitting, groove-driven drum beats accented by driving bass lines providing a backbone for melodic yet heavy guitars with bluesy undertones topped with powerful, high-energy vocals. Accomplishments:
- The band participated in the 2006 Zippo Hot Tour and out of the 1500+ bands that entered, 44 Down came in FIRST in Oralndo and Central Florida and THIRD NATIONWIDE!!!!
- The band currently has a production contract with producer Adam Barber (Creed, Sevendust, Alter Bridge) which was offered to them by Mr. Barber after a show earlier this year.

Real Rock 101.1 – Orlando: live on-air studio interview and music is in rotation
95.7 The Hog – Jacksonville: on-air interview and music is in rotation
The Atomic Lunch – UCF: live on-air studio interview and music is in rotation
98 Rock – Tampa: the band was talked about on-air and music in rotaion
The 101 – DirectTV Station: the band was requested by the programming Director to be featured on the station and music to be used on the station bumps.
OtownNightlife.com – Internet: the band was the first local band to be interviewed for the website.
Pulse Rated – Online and Satellite Radio: the band was contacted and music was requested to be played on the station. Currently in rotation.
44 Down has played with such bands as Indorphine (Rock Ridge Music), City Sleeps (Maverick Records), the band participated in the 2006 "No Snow Show" (which featured AFI, Buckcherry, Angels and Airwaves, and more). Upcoming shows include Crossbreed featuring Irrational and Earthday Birthday 14 (featuring Sevendust, Papa Roach, Puddle of Mudd, Flyleaf, Bullet for My Valentine, Saliva, Chevelle, and more).
