45 Cents has established itself as one of the best upcoming punk bands in Detroit. Throughout the years we have played with many bands such as The Dropkick Murphys, UK Subs, VooDoo Glowskulls, Leftover Crack, Musterd Plug, F-Minus, and Soulfly just to name a few. And in that time we have endured many member changes but stayed true to our sound. We have also been ranked #4 out of over 1000 in the nation at the emergenza music festival. And we have been nominated for 4 Detroit music awards. Our influences range all over the spectrum. everything from Easy E, to Johnny Cash, or Bob Marley to slayer. We all have a little different taste in music and it comes together in our unique sound. We are comfortable playing in large concert halls with 1000+ people or at the local pub with 20 so long as we drink a few beers and have a good time it doesn't matter.
