Hailing from the mountain town of Castlewood, Virginia, 49 Winchester's roots are in the music of Appalachia. Combining the powerful vocals & poetically straight-forward songs of singer Isaac Gibson with weaving country blues & steel guitars, the band creates a melodic and soulful blend of grassroots rock & roll.
The young band has toured venues & festivals in the East with their hard-hitting songs & a powerful high-energy live show. 49 Winchester has been featured at Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion, Border Bash, Rockn' to LOCKN' Fest, Music City Brewer's Fest, Little Chicago Festival, Mountain Music Festival & more.
