Bio

Put aside the usual pigeonholes, things like style and genre classifications – it takes much more for a band to really make a personal connection with people. 4dayweekend understand this. The Motherwell – based indie/rock quartet have made that direct musical connection in each of the venues they have played from Captains Rest to O2 Academy.

The guys have landed in 2011 and hit the ground running! Starting off the year in Stereo with the release of there second EP “Urban Lies and Rural Skies”, and since then taking there sound all around the country and down South. Its none stop for the four guys who over the past two years have played in venues such as , King Tuts, Hope and Anchor(Islington), Cavern Liverpool, and Nice and Sleazy's, as well as supporting artists such as Chris Helme, Tommy Reilly, Attic Lights, Dotjr, Our Lunar Activities, The Xcerts, Goldheart Assembly,The Dykeenies, and Toploader.

4dayweekend have been featured on Vic Galloways ‘Back Of The Net’, with there track "Tonight", which features "Fast" Eddie Clarke of Motorhead. As well as being featured on Clyde 1's "In Demand" show, and more recently in the up and coming American lifestyle magazine “Always Therro”. The Weekenders have also been nominated for the Best Rock Act 2011 at the MACA Awards, and were shortlisted for Clyde 1's Unsigned Band of The Year 2011 at the YoungScot Awards!!
