Biography

This power-trio known to the southern edge of Akron, Ohio bearing the name of 4starRADAR blends a triad of equal existent forces behind guitar, bass and drums creating a barometer of modern indie alt-rock. Each member contributes their own individual influences when composing their original music, creating a combination that conjures equal parts late 70’s rock, early 90’s alternative and modern day indie sounds.

Included in this menage a trois is bassist/vocalist April Vawn, Scott Sanders on guitar and vocals, and drummer Dan Dimick. 4starRADAR hit the local music scene in January of 2003, and have been performing continuously in the Northeast Ohio and surrounding areas.

4starRADAR was included on the compilation CD “diverseCity vol 1” with 12 other area independent bands produced by DreamState Productions featuring the singles “Get Enough” and “Disaster” (www.ohiomusicreview.com). This CD is available upon request. Artist First has also aired the single “Get Enough” on it’s National Internet Radio Program (www.artistfirst.com). This track has also been aired on the Cinncinati station 88.3 WAIF fm (www.waif883.org) broadcast over the radio and also streaming audio. 4starRADAR has also gained an extensive fan base across the United States.
