"4warned Wins Over Harshest of Critics"

In a part of Texas where cover bands flourish and original bands flounder, musical hope arises. I live in a city where the majority rules. People here want to go to a bar or club and listen to their old and new favorites. They just don't want or care to hear anything original, especially by bands that aren't instantly recognized, i.e. your Buckcherry, Hinder, and whatever other band is the flavor of the month. Enter 4Warned. These 4 Midland natives came together not too long ago with one thing in mind. Play other bands shit and make some mula. Fair enough, and job well done. They have become one of the elite of cover bands, playing songs that few or none attempt to cover. But then something happened. They started writing their own material. Oh my God! A cover band writing their own stuff. It's gonna suck balls! WRONG. 4Warned has become the first local band to get three of their songs played on our show, called "The Cellar," on Absolute Rock 102.1 FZX, Odessa/Midland. Showing a diversity found in few, they can rock it with the best of them. Just listen to Sacred or DX. And on the flip side they can write and perform songs that can reach the most cynical of critics, like me. Lucy and Worship You show their softer side, songs that are right up there with the likes of Candlebox and Staind. Don't believe me? Well, it's my opinion, and in this town, it counts. These guys have only one way to go, and that's up. Don't overlook them just because they're from West Texas. You'll regret it.

Bio

Embarking from the dry, desolate, town of Midland Texas, brothers Romy and Joel Ramos along with best friend Cody Crossland, decided to move forward with the plan to put a together a band of high energy and gripping stage presence. 2 weeks later in the summer of 2006 the guy's stumbled upon a great guitarist by the name of Jeff Duran. All 4 members at that point began putting together music that they felt would suite to their style. 4warned was now officially complete. With each members influences and previous experiences, the sound is unique in a way that reflects each members diverse styles. 4warned embraces each show with as much energy as each listener is legally entitled to ensue. "We make it a personal commitment for every listener to feel the music, not just hear it."

With harmonizing vocals and an exploding stage show, the raw, yet melodic music you hear is something you will definitely not too soon forget. Leaving an impact is something they do by pure talent and self love of music.

With their recent 5 song EP release, "The Sacred EP", 4warned has attracted attention from local entertainment magazine "Good Times". In their July 2007 issue, The band was featured in "It Came From West Texas" section that features local artists on the verge of breaking out.

Before their EP was even released, 4warned was asked for an interview and On-Air live performance on local rock station 102.1 FZX "The Cellar"with Bogart & Hunter.
