52 PickUp is a rock and roll band primarily out of Michigan that plays original music that consists of pop-rock hooks with a catchy fun-like melody, which has been well received and is requested by our audience countless times. When playing bar gigs that last 3-4 hours long, they play a wide variety of cover songs ranging from the 1960's to modern day. The band always draws exceptional crowds and keeps establishment’s regulars entertained holding their attention and presence throughout the night. The cover songs chosen by 52 PickUp slightly differ from those regularly played by other area bands and are well received by all venues and a wide age range of audiences , making them an asset to local establishments by playing what people enjoy, but rarely hear performed by other local bands. Comprised of Paul Wood on vocals and guitar, Chris Jaquillard on bass guitar and William "Grizz" Christopher on drums,52 PickUp delivers high energy, fun and professional entertainment for local/regional establishments, outdoor events and private parties. With a combined average of 30 years of performing live and drawing a significant following 52 PickUp are certainly no strangers to the local music scene. The members have been playing regularly in and around the Toledo area for many years and the band was even featured on the radio show "The Man Cave" on FM104 WIOT in June of 2012, only to return at the producer's request for the show's one year anniversary in November of 2012.
