An exciting blend of contemporary jazz and groovin' R&B

Guitarist Brian Goyette is the group's melodic anchor. He was born and raised in Detroit Michigan. As a young man, under the direction of Dr. Morris Lawrence (U of M at Ann Arbor), Goyette developed into a remarkable jazz guitarist. Brian has toured Canada, performed at Carnegie Hall and appeared at the Detroit Jazz Fest.

Vuyani Wakaba was raised in Johannesburg (Soweto), South Africa. There he learned to love the role of the bass in music. Wakaba began his career in the clubs of metropolitan Seattle. It wasn't long before he became a much sought after musician on the Jazz, Blues and R&B scene. In 2002, Wakaba relocated to Chicago and began a flourishing career there as well. Vuyani is an official endorser of Essential Sound Products and a contributing writer to the South African Bass Collective website.

Chris Edwards has played behind and shared the stage with a long list of notable performers including Koko Taylor, Bobby Blue Bland, Jimmy Smith, Buddy Miles and Kenny Burrell.
