5 Step Drop EP

The band “5 Step Drop” was created with one goal in mind: to get people buying full albums again instead of just one or two songs off their album like the majority of the music listening population does! The band feels that the digital distribution revolution is obviously a great way for bands and solo artists alike to get their music heard, but there are way too many “filler songs” on albums these days which is why so many bands full album sales are down. 5 Step Drop is focused on the product and their aim is to put out a debut album for the Hard Rock lovers of the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, to modern day all dressed up with their own spin in which the fans will enjoy each and every track on the album! It definitely shows in the extremely melodic and catchy songwriting talents of Alex Ilich and Charlie Costa, combined with the tastefully seasoned bass lines of Tony Bock, finished with the grippingly intense and graceful voice of Jeremiah Medema. There is no doubt that there will be some full album sales here in the future for this fresh Chicago-Based Rock Band.
Their goal is to put their very best efforts into writing and recording the music to gain the respect of every single fan one by one. Their live show is something to see too! They truly believe that if you cannot perform it live as good as you hear it on the album then what is the point in being a band! There are so many bands and artists out there that rely 100% on “studio magic” by vocal tuning a singer when they are out of key and that is ripping off the fans in the eyes of 5 Step Drop. Each member puts their heart and soul into every aspect of gaining and keeping their “grass roots” following. Tim Lamping of 105.5 The KAT says “5 Step Drop has a bit of a 90’s grunge style sound like Alice in Chains twisted up with a bit of Guns n’ Roses and STP, but they are a lot more than just 90’s style grunge!” They are all very personable and likeable people first which shows in their lives on the stage, in the studio, and off the stage! Get the EP now as they will be recording their full length debut album with producer Chuck Alkazian who has recently worked with incredible bands such as Trust Company, Saving Abel, Pop Evil, Tesla, and Sponge to name a few. 5 Step Drop did tour support for the bands Dope and Soil July 2nd, 2011 in Casper, Wyoming.
