Sabriena Stone & Larry Post, two native New Yorkers looking for some musical inspiration, sought each other out using the ever-popular vehicle of Craigslist. It didn't take long before a fiery musical relationship was born. They immediately hit it off and started working and re-working tunes until they felt satisfied and their fans felt hungry for more. An ecl;ectic blend of just the right amounts of rock, pop, soul, and country, 5th of July has created an instantly appealing edgy roots rock sound.
The band started playing in and around the New York City music scene, gathering admirers as word of mouth spread. They were soon invited to open for Los Lonely Boys, Willie Nelson and Blues Traveler in Jacksonville Florida as part of the Suerbowl events.
5th of July recently finished their first full length album "noSurprise" . A collection of 12 original songs the album has something for everyone. Take caution, the catchy vocals and killer guitar riffs will have you singing for days.
