6000 Red formed early in 2006 on a hunch. Combining the soaring vocals of Seanne Chamberlain with the electronic handiwork of Geoff Baker, 6000 red formed to match electro sounds with songs that meant something. The sound is sometimes soulful, sometimes upbeat, sometimes pushing the boundaries of songwriting, taking a different approach with every song. Six thousand red are influenced by songwriters such as Tori Amos and Ani Defranco, and electronic artists like New Order, Lamb, Nine Inch Nails and Perth's deuce stable of artists.
