This bands set-list is loaded with lively, fresh and easily recognizable material. Their funk music is played with a powerful mixture of soul, R&B influences, dance grooves and jazz styles.

Vinny D. Valentine is a highly regarded performer. In 1999 Vinny D. was recognized as a State of Wisconsin semi-finalist in the prestigious Dick Clark Music Search. With a powerful voice and strong stage presence Vinny D. delivers every time he touches the stage.

The band itself (The Royal Flush Players) is loaded with a very accomplished roster of musicians. Five (5) of the band members have degrees in music and some serve as professional music instructors. Combined the band has over twenty (20) years of professional music experience.

Some of the bands influences include: Blood Sweat and Tears, Tower of Power, Tom Jones, Phil Collins, Stevie Wonder, Billy Preston, James Brown, The Beatles, Chicago, Jimi Hendrix, The O'Jays, The Isley Brothers, Earth, Wing & Fire, KC and the Sunshine Band, Smokey Robinson, Aretha Franklin, Sly and the Family Stone, Al Green, Curtis Mayfield, Ohio Players, Santana, War, Idles of March, Graham Central Station, Undisputed Truth, Ray Charles, Marvin Gaye, Bill Withers, Kool & the Gang, Commodores, Rufus featuring Chaka Khan, Parliament, Bootsy's Rubber Band, George Clinton, and the P-Funk All-Stars, just to name a few.


In early March 2006 the band recorded it's first cd. This was a review of many of the significant classic hits from the 1970's era.

The cd will be released in September 2006.
The name of the cd is "Reviewing The Classics."

Set List

Although this is a high-powered funk band, with adequate notice, the band can play various types & styles of music. The band has routinely customized their set-list for various shows and they can do the same for you and your guest.

The band can play four (4) hour shows, or longer, if needed. They have a variety of song material, from big band material, to new modern music. They can also play jazz, swing, oldies and rock music.
