6:AM (the bay area's original rock-n-roll wake up call) is an all original hard rock band, founded by Johnny in 1999 and based out of San Jose, CA. 6:AM has been rocking the bay area for nearly 10 years. Their music is a mixture of each of the member's unique musical style and influences... ranging from classic rock, 80's metal, the straight ahead rock of the 90's and far beyond. The band's musical D.N.A. is made up of solid bass and drums, with catchy and dirty guitars riffs, and completed with rich powerful vocals. If you are looking for a "GOOD TIME HARD ROCK BAND", then you've found 6:AM!
Over the years 6:AM has enjoyed quite of bit of success throught the San Francisco Bay Area by being regular headliners at most of their shows, performing on 107.7fm (THE BONE) Morning Show, doing an interview and "un-plugged" performance live on Pirate Cat Radio, appearing on Petuluma Live's television broadcast, performing mulitple times at BANDFEST (hosted by BANDS4BANDS), being multiple time nominees for BANDS4BANDS ANNUAL AWARDS, and recenly appearing on Versailles Records LICK IT UP(a millennium tribute to KISS) / STRIP CLUB ROCK. And has just recently finished recording their long awaited debut CD..."IT'S ABOUT TIME"! "IT'S ABOUT TIME" will be out this December.
6:AM is also a memeber of the BANDS4BANDS organization. An organization made of up of Bay Area bands who are dedicated to bringing quality live shows back to the bay area, by cross promoting and information sharing. WWW.BANDS4BANDS.COM
