Bio

777's are guaranteed to deliver hard-hitting, melodic, high-energy rock n roll. Formed in Winter ‘’04, 777's have had no shortage of shows; gaining adoring fans, praise from friends, strangers and local drunks along the way.
Heather 7, a New York native, who fronted Double Agent Girlfriend on bass and vocals, now picks up her Les Paul to delight us with more strings. She dragged along her buddy Becky, formerly of The Alcohol Stuntband, to play bass. And after a long, arduous, ear-splitting search for a drummer, the band was completed with Frankie 7; a former student of the Berkeley School of Music and member of Boston’s legendary Bentmen.
Having practiced twice with Frankie 7, 777's hit the stage for the first time at the 400 person capacity North Six. They’ve maintained a minimum of one show a month ever since, jumping around such stages as CBGB, Manitoba’s, Trash, and Arlene’s Grocery, to name a few.
In August ‘05, 777's went into the studio with Super Buddha, who are currently recording/writing with Debbie Harry and have worked with the Scissor Sisters, Rufus Wainwright and Antony and the Johnsons. The result was the 4 song e.p. ‘Feelin’ Lucky’, that has gained radio air play from Connecticut to Tel Aviv. Having been compared to The Buzzcocks, The Go Go’s and The Jam, 777's say they hate comparisons (but love those bands).
Not just a great chick band, but “a great rock band”. Filled with solid hooks, it’s no wonder pirates love these guys.
