Bio

Jevady is from the DOUBLE B, a phrase he created which means, Born in the streets of Brooklyn and raised in the streets of the Bronx. At the tender age of 12, Jevady was already writing his own rap and R&B songs, and singing with the acappella group, The Classic Three. He entertained audiences at The Audubon Theatre in Harlem, infamous now as the place where Malcom X was killed. By the time he was 14, Jevady was performing on the same stage with groups such as: Grand Wizard Theodore, The Cold Crush Four, and The Fantastic Five, pioneers that helped launch the new age music we call rap today. Jevady too, did much to contribute to the rise of rap music and continues to make his mark in the industry. He is the co-founder and lead vocal of 78 WES. He writes and performs songs that carry powerful messages with relevancy to the times. A true metaphor for his music, Jevady is also exciting and explosive on stage. With an inherent talent for performance and the creative skills necessary to truly make music, Jevadys future in the industry is in itself a hit song soon to become #1.
