Depuis sa création en 2008, 7 DAYS BEFORE s'est forgé une identité propre en puisant ses influences dans de nombreux groupes rock / hardcore / punk / fusion… (de Rage Against The Machine à Refused en passant par Thrice) mais aussi Hip-Hop (Cypress Hill, Foreign Beggars…). Le style très brut des débuts s'est affiné, le groupe pouvant passer de morceaux rock n' roll ultra efficaces, à des titres plus ambiants et intimistes, mais ne laissant pas de coté leurs hymnes aux refrains entrainants, le tout emmené par le groove du hip-hop !

Suite à la sortie de son 1er EP Rip it, Burn it en 2010, plébiscité par la critique française et étrangère (presse écrite, web, radios), le groupe enchaine les dates sur deux tournées françaises.

A l'été 2011, le bassiste Tom fait ses adieux au groupe pour se concentrer sur ses projets personnels. Quentin du groupe Kaylz rejoint l’équipe, et 5 nouveaux titres sont enregistrés fin 2011. Ces morceaux, témoins de l'évolution musicale du groupe, composent le nouvel EP Fast Fame Fast Fall : un mélange des riffs endiablés des débuts, renforcé par les nouvelles influences du groupe et les nouvelles rencontres qu’il a pu faire sur la route et ailleurs.

À la manière du hip-hop, le travail de composition laisse une place plus importante aux textes. Commentaires acerbes et cyniques du monde d'aujourd'hui, ils s'inspirent de la littérature, de faits d'actualité, mais aussi du vécu des membres.

Sur scène, "le live convainc les plus sceptiques de la qualité du combo", qui offre "un concentré d’énergie pure délivrée sans fioritures".

7 DAYS BEFORE multiplie aussi les collaborations artistiques, notamment avec la musique électronique. Après une première apparition sur Rip it, Burn it, Noone est ainsi de nouveau présent sur Fast Fame Fast Fall.

En restant sur cette dynamique, le groupe sort fin 2011 Rip it, Remix it ! : le 1er EP remixé à la sauce electro, dans son intégralité, par des pointures du style de la scène française. Une expérience inédite pour un groupe de rock !

Suivi et accompagné par des structures régionales (Le Ninkasi, Le Brise Glace, Smilodon Music…), 7 DAYS BEFORE est aussi endorsé par l’enseigne Star's Music et les marques Clayton USA et DIY Clothing.

7DB reprend la route en 2012 pour présenter Fast Fame Fast Fall sur scène !

Since its creation in 2008, 7 DAYS BEFORE has built its own identity, taking influences from various rock/hardcore/punk/fusion bands (from Rage Against The Machine to Refused, passing through Thrice...), but also from hip-hop (Cypress Hill, Foreign Beggars....). The very raw style of the early days has become more refined. The band can go from extremely efficient rock'n'roll tracks to more atmospheric and intimate songs, but they never put aside their catchy choruses, all of this lead by the groove of hip-hop !

After the release in 2010 of their first EP Rip it, Burn it, that was warmly welcomed by French and foreign critics (web, radios, print media), the band has been giving concerts in two French tours.

During the summer of 2011, the bass player Tom takes his leave from the band to concentrate on his own projects. Quentin from the band Kaylz joins the team, and 5 news tracks are recorded at the end of the same year. These songs, showing the musical evolution of the band, gives birth to the new EP Fast Fame, Fast Fall, a mix of the early crazy riffs, strengthened by new influences and the encounters the band has made on the road and elsewhere.

In the way that hip-hop does, the composition work gives more room to the texts. Acerbic and cynical comments of today's world, they are inspired by literature, news, and the band members own experience.

On stage «the show convinces the more sceptical people of the quality of the band », that offers « a compound of pure energy given without frills ».

7 DAYS BEFORE goes through a lot of artistic collaborations, especially with electronic music. After a guest appearance on Rip it, Burn it, NOONE is back on Fast Fame, Fast Fall.

Continuing on this path, the band releases Rip it, Remix it at the end of 2011 : the first EP entirely remixed by great artists of the French electro scene. An unheard-of experiment for a rock band !

7 DAYS BEFORE is followed and backed by regional structures (Le Ninkasi, Le Brise Glace, Smilodon Music...) and is also endorsed by Star's Music, Clayton USA and DIY Clothing.

7DB will be back on the road in 2012 to present Fast Fame Fast Fall on stage !
