Nigerian Afro singer 7emora pronounced "Femora' emerged in 2014 with his debut single under the name “Mora” titled “Nakam” which he released in conjunction with business partner/producer Nyasha on an independent label Ace Music Group. Born Oluwafemi Olumide Ijatoye in the Nigerian city of Warri, Delta State. Femora learned how to program drums in Fl Studio as a teenager due to lack of funds and his parents disapproval to make him do music or book studio sessions. His love for music eventually led him into a partnership with Nyasha, a producer he met in Toronto whom would eventually produced his first official singles “I Don’t Mind” and “Beautiful” that would mark the beginning of his professional recording career. Both singles presented a slick mix of Afro Dance Pop and Afropop with which Femora would find sparkling success over the next several years. In 2017, Femora opened for Nigerian Superstar Davido, at the the Toronto Caribanna festival among a list of others. He also did a free concert held at the Dundas Square in Toronto in summer 2016. His most recent single “Sunmomi” gets to set the tone for the direction he tends to be going with his unique style of delivery.
