7 Estrelo: a cultural mix from Brazil to the world
Contemporary electronic music duo formed in 2007 by André Lanari and Bruno Tonelli , in Belo Horizonte (Brazil). Through research and experimentation of different musical genres,those young guys created a new conception of artistic music.
The 7 Estrelo reflects the cultural diversity of the planet, through the creative blend of contemporary and traditional technological instruments with characteristics of various world cultures. Experimental project, has reference to the electronic genre and influences of rock, pop, jazz, oriental, popular and regional Brazilian folk music. The musicians present with custom costumes and incorporate elements of performance, combining music with poetry, theater, dance and visual projections. Then constitutes an artistic performance hybrid with important trends in contemporary art.
The 7 Estrelo has participated in important events of the Brazilian music scene as the Universe Festival Paralello Bahia (2007, 2009 and 2011), Interactive Festival of Culture and Art Bahia (2012), Festival de Jazz de Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais (2007 and 2008), Out of Time Festival Maranhao (2008 and 2009), Samsara Minas Gerais (2008 and 2009) and dozens of others.
Internationally, the duo has performed in Morocco (Zagoa Festival 2012), Canada (Canadian Music Week 2012), Italy (Feira de Minas Gerais in 2009 Piemont and Paradise 2010), Germany (Vuuv Festival 2010), Ireland (Life Festival 2010) , Croatia (Life Celebration 2010) and Holland (Fireworks 2010). In 2011, 7 Estrelo released his third album, Terra Vive, artwork and concept .
