This Afrikaans hard-rock outfit from Pretoria started off in 2007 and with recent successes with three music videos featured on MK324; Skuld op Aanvraag featuring Afrikaans Rock princess Babette , Verander vir Ander and Genoeg as well as recording their 7 track EP album Verlig die Seer, 7StukkeSilwer has progressively grown to the point where they could successfully hold their own when sharing stages with bands like Van Coke Kartel, Foto na Dans, Straatligkinders, Zebra and Giraffe, Cutting Jade, Chromium, Knave, Pestroy as well as the infamous Fokofpolisiekar, Not my Dog & The Narrow.
7StukkeSilwers music can be described as hard and aggressive guitar riffs, powerful drumming with melodic and harmonious vocals...with an extremely aerobatic stage performance. With lyrics investigating the rise of the New alternative South-African in a mostly negative environment, 7StukkeSilwers message is one of positivity, originality and acceptance of different cultures and personal views.
