Jason Wood (guitar) armed with a collection of very well written songs he had written, he began picking up musicians. Mike Eaton (drums) joined the band then Koobs, originally the bass player… it soon became obvious that this New Jersey transplant would be much better suited on the keys, and rhythm guitar. A good friend of Jason’s who just always seemed to be hanging around, Kelly Esquire picked up the Bass. The only thing missing was a set of pipes to front the band. Originally a singer from Southern CA was slated to come out and take the job, but he could not commit. In April of 2006 Brad Bowles a Colorado native who was living in Louisiana tripped across an add in musicmates.com for a band looking for a singer. The demo tracks were exactly what Brad was looking for. In early may the whole band got together and started hammering out the tunes and writing more. 7th decibel went into the studio and quickly hammered out an 8 song limited release called ReWind. The band then started playing shows around Denver. Every crowd has been hooked on the energetic stage show and the catchy hooky songs.
Their influences are the GREAT ROCK RECORDS! Like Journey, Styx, Van Halen, Boston, they are bringing back FUN and feel good music with a GREAT LIVE SHOW! They are playing some of the Biggest clubs in Denver! They are opening for the Grammy Award Winning Band “FIREHOUSE” in April!! They also accepted to play the ROCK-IT-FEST in West Virginia this JUNE 16th, 2007 in front of 7,000 people! All to raise Money for Ronald McDonald House Charities! All this and they are releasing a very professional LIVE DVD! Plus they are working on recording there New CD “Frequency”!
