"Recharge with Texas Chill"

"Those that savor life in the right lane will love the beats of Seventh Generation. It's all about the vibe, the movement and the brotherhood created by the marriage of good music and good times. They're a slab of South Texas surfer sound. Their love for making music perpetually swells and is slowly pushing 7G to the crest of its budding career. And those who don't grab on are sure to miss a great ride."

"7th Generation- Texas Reggae"

"If you were to take a blender, and put in a fifth of rock n roll, a splash of punk rock, 2 cups of reggae ice cubes and blend it into a frozen drink.... You would garnish it with a dub lime and a floater of jagermeister and take a sweet sp of some 7th Generation."

Bio

7th Generation is a rock band heavily influenced by reggae with overtures of dub and hip-hop. Catchy horn fills and simple melodies coupled with solid rhythms and thunderous rock riffs guarantee to get the audience out of their chairs and shaking their boodies on the dance floor. What was born out of the ashes of recently deceased HerbN Pipeline, 7th Generation promises a new approach to a timeless genre of music. With the addition of horns, and the experience and professionalism past projects have lacked 7th Generation promises to take the reggae/rock scene by storm. In just three months, 7G has already established a Texas-wide performance circuit, co-headlined in front of a packed audience at the 1st Annual REGGAE-FEAST event in San Antonio, and rocked a headlining spot, among the likes of Dr. King Cobra, Michael Black, Cas Haley, and Jah Roots, for both days of the Bob Marley Fest at the Sunken Gardens Ampitheater in San Antonio in November 2007. 7th Generation will be ushering in 2008 with a huge 'back to school' charity event in Corpus Christi. 7G will be organizing and headlining the "Funk School- A Rocking Reggae Festival" to benefit South Texas Academic Rising Scholars (STARS). The stage is currently being set for a busy 2008 across the state of Texas and beyond. One Love.. 7G

(About the name:
7th Generation is a trend of thought passed down from Iraqoi Indians. The Iraqoi would make decisions prioritizing the interest of 7 generations ahead of themselves ensuring that the future was available for better for those still to come. We pulled our name from this in hopes of inspiring people to think ahead, to make decisions to ensure a lasting world that our future generations can enjoy and not live just for the moment without concern for the destruction of a planet so potentially beautiful. The mass cosumption of finite natural resource, global warming, and rising oil needs are all things that we should be considering in our daily lives and decisions. Above all however, we believe in peace and love and making our contribution to a better world. )
