Biography

82FIFTY is an alternative / rock / reggae music collective based out of Oahu-Hawaii. Known on the island as a hidden gem for their signature sound and style, these Hawaii fellas bring nothing but high energy and originality to the large sea of traditional island style music. 82FIFTY has had the opportunity to travel to both California and Vegas to open for The Vince Neil Band, and has also opened for national acts such as: Pepper, Sublime with Rome, The Dirty Heads, MxPX, Matt Embree of RX Bandits, Strung Out, and The Expendables.

Discography

After the release of 82FIFTY's first independent album in 2007 (Take A Chance and Let The Music Play), their original sound has earned them the title for Rock Album of The Year at the Hawaii Music Awards in 2008, Na Hoku Hanohano Award nominee for Rock Album of The Year in 2008, and the Mai Tai Rumble: Battle of the Bands Winner in 2010. 

In 2011, 82FIFTY also released their single (Once Again), which got regular air play on the local segment of Star 101.9 fm. 

82FIFTY continued to push the envelope of originality and released their second full length album, Broken Promises (2015) -- which provides listeners a plethora of songs. The band's new album has currently earned 82FIFTY yet another nomination for Rock Album of The Year at Hawaii's Na Hoku Hanohano Awards 2016 and also played at the prestigious event.
