Bio

Once upon a time a guy called Jamie found his freedom beneath a cherry blossom tree. It was there he used to take his pots n pans and, rather than cook, with the help of Keith Moon - he would hit them, slowly developing a rhythm that wouldnt go unnoticed. After his brother visited he saw what was happening. Maybe there was some sanity left in his brother?! One birthday he bought a drum kit in place of the kitchen crockery and it wasnt long before his skills developed bringing with it something special. With the help of Keith Moon or not Jamie really took to the drums.

Around this time, a small time songwriter called Nigel was searching high n low for people to start a new project. After banging his head on the wall for some time he had heard the stories on the grapevine of the mad drummer boy. Curious as he was, with his guitar in hand and rucksack full of songs; he went to find out more

Along the way Nigel met, as if by fate, a bassist called Luke at a local tavern. Intrigued by The Quest and the stories of the cherry tree drummer Luke joined him on the journey. Together they travelled across many mountains and lakes but at all times keeping the songs safe from the evil erm..cover bands?

Eventually after a tremendous journey and walking in many circles, meeting a lot of weird people and treading in a lot of poo, they happened upon a cherry tree. Sat there was Homer Simpson. After a few minutes they realised Jamies popularity with the ladies had shot up so much recently that he had to disguise himself - he was now Homer (and was he good on drums!). They talked for a while and it wasnt long before they began to arrange the songs giving them the body and life that they needed. At that moment Jamies brother, Dan, walked in. Amazed by what he heard he soon joined in becoming the main voice, and the front man - soon taking up guitar also to help add further dynamics to the songs.

To this day they work together on more and more songs, creating such energy that the branches of the tree shake with the music, planting the seeds to the future. For miles their songs can be heard through the help of the local media, and today they are here, as 8 Lives Down.
