"Catch the JGB Band at the Wild Wild West Fest in AZ"

The theme for the 2014 Wild Wild West Fest evokes the of the American Western Frontier, which tells the story of creating and defending communities, use of the land, development of markets, and state formation. It also evokes the disputation of conquest, survival, persistence, and the merging of peoples and cultures, which gave birth to and helped continue lfe in the U.S. through individual agreements, treaties, political compromise, military operations, and the establishment of law and order.

From April 25-27, 2014, festival goers from all over the southwestern U.S. and beyond will converge upon Tucson to represent this period via live music, art, workshop lectures, and via interactions with the local sustainable community. Let us put the focus on your products and services and help them win a space in the minds of these hundreds of people by having them share the spotlight with some of the best entertainers in the national, regional, and local live music and art scenes.

National, regional , and local acts including The Jerry Garcia Band, {San Francisco, CA), Slanley Jordan (Flagstaff, AZ),The Magic Beans (Boulder, CO), Christopher Robin Band (Fairfield, CT), The Haymarket Squares (Phoenix, AZ), and hometown favorites The Missing Parts & 8 Minutes to Burn {Tucson,AZ) have joined the April line-up to offer a diverse variety of talent and equally diverse are the sponsorship gifting opportunities that will place your brand in front of hundreds of festival goers before during and after the event.

"Black Bottom Lighters, The Wiley Ones, Diamond Down String Band to Play Inaugural Wild Wild West Fest"

Imagine you’re in your own private version of Back To The Future. Now toss yourself in the scene where Marty and Doc Brown visit the Old West. Now slide that scene over to the Arizona desert. Now throw a three-day music and camping festival featuring some of Arizona’s best up-and-coming artists. There. You’ve got the Wild Wild West Fest!

Invite and winner-only, the inaugural Wild Wild West Fest takes the burgeoning Southwestern cultural scene of Arizona and jam-packs it into three days of art, camping, and music. In order to play, artists have to have been born in Arizona, lived in Arizona, and been a part of the Arizona music scene.

This festival, while only in its first year, focuses on the music, the music, and nothing but the music. That being said, it is a huge fan for musicians and fans to interact and mingle in a completely shared environment. All the performing artists share the same accommodations as their fans. In addition to the great music of Arizona, the festival offers from everything on sustainability to yoga.

Sonicbids is proud to have three bands on the bill, The Wiley Ones, the Black Bottom Lighters, and the Diamond Down String Band. The Wiley Ones add an acoustic element to straightforward hip hop, blues, and reggae, and have been making the rounds touring and playing parties around the country over the last five years

The Black Bottom Lighters are hard to pin down. With influences and sounds ranging from reggae, hip hop, Latin, rock, and everything in between, they’re sure to bring a fresh, all-encompassing sound to the arid desert. The Diamond Down String band brings their classic bluegrass to the mix, while adding experimental rhythms from as many other genres as possible.

If you’re in Arizona this April, be sure to register and check out the Wild Wild West Fest! - Sonicbids.com

"8 Minutes To Burn Spring Tour 2013: The Green Room in Flagstaff, AZ"

8 Minutes to Burn is a band that does things differently, and their unconventional approach to playing live music in local venues was on full display the opening weekend of their 2013 Spring Tour.

When most local bands start a tour, state-wide or even nationally, they’ll tend to open up at home, feeding off the energy of rabid local fans, and take that energy on the road. But as they often do, 8 Minutes to Burn went against the grain and travelled all the way from their home-base of Tucson to Northern Arizona to kick start their tour with a warm-up show in Sedona and the official tour-opener in Flagstaff. - Tucson Records & Productions

"8 Minutes to Burn tour comes to White Mountains"

8M2B, as they are affectionately dubbed by their fans who they call “Party People,” headlines the FaR OuT Band & Fan Jam June 8, “a truly unique music festival that was founded by Jack Rice and friends at the FaR OuT Ranch near Snowflake.” The Facebook Community for this event describes it as a “journey off-the-grid…into the high-desert wilderness of the Anasazi Valley… a magical sight to behold in all of nature’s glory. Some say that stage has healed the land, others claim to have found new life-energy during the festival; either way, one thing is for sure, the FaR OuT ranch, as Jack always says, ‘brings us all closer to the music.” - White Mountain Independent

"REMIXES TO BURN"

"Local funk-rock-reggae jam ensemble 8 Minutes to Burn is heading out on tour soon, and to get word out about it, they've done something pretty cool and unusual (around these parts, anyway). The band issued a new single earlier this year: "Electric Li-ion," a slinky tune that seems to merge all of the band's influences into one song, was recorded live in December of last year at the Bisbee Royale. Along with the release, the band announced a remix contest in conjunction with 8M2B Productions, local-centric online radio station AZOverload.com, and KXCI's Electric Feel DJs. The band made available 16 tracks to DJs and producers, and asked them to create an EDM remix out of them on a deadline. AZOverload.com played the tracks and had listeners vote for their favorites, narrowing the field down to the top five." - Tucson Weekly Soundbites
