Conceived in the summer of 2004, 8 systems was officially born and became an aware and inspired organism on Friday the 13th of May 2005.
Immediately setting goals and a rigorous pace; John Thevenot, Brent Barnett, Nate Lizotte, and Mike Proctor poured all their time, energy and devotion into creating a sound that would redefine their own artistry as well as move them into the forefront of their hometown music scene and beyond.
Fast forward to almost 2 years later........
After countless live performances, recording a debut full length album and playing a sold out CD release show, 8 systems is out to redefine themselves once again. With Rob Chambers taking over lead vocals and Mike bringing in a 2nd guitar, they are adding even more depth and power to their music. This is a band poised to perpetually evolve their music and performance. In a musical climate where bands come and go, change is constant, but these sounds will always unmistakably be 8 systems.
