8 Weeks Dead

8 Weeks Dead

BandMetalRock

We're an old-school thrash/crossover metal band with southern rock-style overtones. Our sound is a blend of Life Of Agony, Corrosion Of Conformity, and Testament among others, as well as possessing a modern metal sensibility.

Biography

8 Weeks Dead formed for the love of going to shows and playing awesome metal. That's all that has ever mattered to us, enjoying the music we create and putting on a hell of a show. We don't sound like any other band in our scene, and we're proud of that. For the most part, we're only good at one thing in life: rocking out. Anyone that has seen our show would agree.

Discography

Our first EP, "Projects In The Junkyard", has tracks on the "Hard, Fast & Loud" podcast on iTunes, and is featured on the EGLN Internet Radio show "Mosh Your Cat". We've also appeared on the Sinister Music CD compilation series.

Set List

Our set list consists of our 11 original songs, plus a few covers that we bring out from time to time. Out of those 11, 4 are slightly less aggressive and have a more southern rock/groove feel, while the rest are straight-up thrash/thrashcore. Our covers are Motley Crue's "Shout At The Devil" and Anthrax's "Caught In A Mosh".
