905th Brigade
In late 2005, two friends who had known each other for 10 years combined their talents and love of music to launch the 905th Brigade. Mums Da Disciple, aka Lords Disciple, aka Mr. Mumbles has been performing regularly across Ontario since 1998. Although he loves performing, he took a break from the stage in early 2004 to focus on various commercial releases that will be launched in summer of 2006. These include the Kings Court TV compilation, and the Mums the Word mixed tape series.
D Styles, aka Bravo Flex is no stranger to the performing arts either. An extremely talented actor, he has decided to develop his hip-hop abilities while perusing his acting career under the name Lendale Moseley. He also manages his clothing company, Key Clothing. (www.unlockyourself.net)
Mums and D Styles wanted to represent their area code by forming the 905th Brigade. The duo is releasing material off Mums newly formed independent record label Kings Court. Their first single is braggadocios homage to the East 905 Area. The track features the production styles, and scratches of Canadian beat box champion Scratch Cat of Minds eye production.
