Yung Trap

Terriante "Yung Trap" Williams out of Fayetteville, NC has a unique story that separates him from most artist. Unable to find a consistent place to record or people that was consistent enough, or had the same drive he had to reach his goals. He decided to stop making excuses and go out on his own to make things happen. At the age of 20 he left home to pursue a job overseas to help fund his music start. He choose to sacrifice being away from family and friends and put his own life on the line to travel to Afghanistan for work. In the meantime he networked with a lot of people from all over the world and gain a lot of knowledge in ideas to transition in his music. In his earlier teenage years he was caught up in the street life and wanted to be a hustler a lifestyle he adapted from growing in the projects as well as watching the two father figures he had. One being his dad who was incarcerated when he was 11 and the other was his uncle Travis "Trap" Williams who filled his brothers role and took care of Yung Trap and the name says it all. His uncle was the one who taught him everything he knows about music but, gave up on his dream and chose the streets instead. So Yung Trap learned from his uncles mistakes and left the street life alone to finish what his uncle started. Unable to afford equipment to record or studio time he then got legal jobs and worked to finance his music. Then he wanted to travel and get features so he knew he needed a larger source of income. That's where he decide to make a major sacrifice by going to Afghanistan to a war zone. Where he found time to record there. Since then he has traveled all over the world doing music, released a mixtape, as well as shot videos while traveling and performing in different states and cities all over the US. He continues to make his dreams reality and plans to start up DieVerse Music Group. Where he wants to encourage people to never give up on their dreams and don't settle for the "average life". Anything is Possible and he's living proof. Now, he has a son name Taylin that he loves and will do anything possible to make sure Taylin has a worry free life so with his music he is even more determined to make it!
