Bio
Alisa Amor has been expressing the language of her heart in song for over 20 years. At age 14 she was given her first guitar, and soon after, began to write original compositions. She spent 3 years studying at Oberlin Conservatory of Music, before following a dream that led to 15 years working as a graphics artist in Mexico. While there, she continuing writing songs, performing them in cafes and local theatres, including staging a musical setting of the poems of feminist author Rosario Castellanos. Two years ago, she moved to Westchester County, NY, where she recently completed her first professionally-recorded CD - musical settings of spirtual exercises from the workbook, "A Course in Miracles". She is nearing completion of her next CD, a set of original works that express the joy and sadness of living, loving, and growing
