With a modern hard rock sound that some say is evocative of Metallica & Avenged Sevenfold, Nova Scotia’s A Call for Submission was poised to expand their reach with the release of their first studio EP, Rise or Fall and the band did just that. Known for their catchy hooks and melodic vocals, the group has been playing since 2009 and continues to maximize their momentum by continuing to work outside the box in an effort to create an original and infectious sound.
The band cites it's influences from bands like: Metallica, Black Sabbath, Slayer, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, Pantera, Avenged Sevenfold and many more. These influences are evidenced in the band’s musical evolution across multiple genres.
