A Million things is an Australian Lo-Fi chill beat producer. Carefully crafted downbeat tunes with Soul, Hip-Hop, and Trip-Hop influence. Sunday afternoon in the sun, The cafe record player, floating on a cloud. Get lost in the moment.
Melbourne producer Thomas 'Soup' Campbell has been making and playing music for a while now. Previous projects include Trip Hop band 'Miso', Dubstep production duo 'Editor', Electronic Cumbia outfit 'The Cumbia Cosmonauts' and he toured with 'Joelistics' for a number of years.
Recently Soup has been composing music for art installations and large scale public art with company's such as 'A Blanck Canvas', 'The Indirect Object' and under his own monica 'A Million Things'. 2020 brought great change for many, for Soup it ceased his international touring with the highly acclaimed 'Back to Back Theatre'. It also put a pause on his large scale concert hall, theatre and event work as gatherings of more than 500 people seem a long while off.
But enough of that. It has afforded 'Soup' the time to get in the studio and write music. A million things has evolved from the self therapy of a swathe of unfinished tracks to a realisation of every producers ultimate dream, finished tracks!
So sit back, tune in and enjoy.... or not, these tunes easily sit in the background when chilling with friends.
