イギリス・ロンドンで結成されたバンド、A Month of Sundaysが1stアルバム「Light of My Life」をリリース。明日7月20日に東京・Shibuya O-nestにてアルバム発売を記念したフリーライブを開催する。

A Month of Sundaysはイギリス育ちのayumi melody（Vo, Piano）と、上原正志（B）の2人が結成した5人組ピアノポップバンド。ロンドンでのライブ活動を経て、現在は都内のライブハウスを中心に活動している。10月2日から全国リリースされる「Light of My Life」はバンドにとって初となるフルアルバムで、楽曲のミックスとマスタリングはTHE PRODIGYやSPIRITUALIZEDなどの作品を手がけたエンジニアのアンガス・ウォレスが担当した。バンドのオフィシャルサイトではアルバムのリード曲「アズライト」のPVが公開されており、疾走感あふれる楽曲をフルサイズで聴くことができる。

A Month of Sundaysが本日12月4日にニューシングル「Autumn Colours E.P.」をiTunes Storeにて配信リリースした。

10月に発表した1stアルバム「Light of My Life」がイギリスの老舗レコード店「Rough Trade」でも取り扱われるなど、活動の場を広げているピアノポップバンド、A Month of Sundays。「Autumn Colours E.P.」にはライブの定番曲「Autumn Colours」をはじめ、「星の絵柄」「Underground（aoub remix）」の全3曲が収められる。今作のミックスとマスタリングは1stアルバムに引き続き、The ProdigyやSpiritualizedなどの作品を手がけたエンジニアのアンガス・ウォレスが担当している。

また彼らは2月2日に東京・TSUTAYA O-nestにて2回目の自主企画「Star Signs Vol.2 - "Amethyst Sun"」を開催。このイベントにはAMoSのほか、メンバーのayumi melody（Vo, Piano）が所属するガールズロックバンド・リリーローズや、chori、MAGI SCENEの全4組が登場する。 - ナタリー
