A.N.T. Da Hope Boy

A.N.T. is an emcee & musician, bursting with passion, honesty, creativity and a desire to see the landscape of music changed to reflect the Hope that resides inside of us all, to be better today than we were yesterday. A.N.T. believes music should not only reflect the struggles of life and society, but more importantly point toward and model what change can look like.
Born in St Louis, MO in the late 70's A.N.T. was raised in the shadow of a growing hip hop scene. His earliest influences include LL Cool J, Kool Moe Dee, MC Shan, Whodini, BDP, and Rakim. The arrival of West coast hip hop really began to shape his style with the introduction of groups like NWA, DJ Quik and Compton's Most Wanted.
All of these influences plus the advantage of being in the midwest created an adaptive emcee who can rock any style genuinely and superbly well. Many mainstreams opportunities would present themselves to A.N.T. over the years but due to immaturity and deception, all fell void.
In 1997 A.N.T. co founded the Holy hip hop group, BloodRelated in Milwaukee, WI. BloodRelated performed nationally with artist such as Fred Hammond, T-bone, Cross Movement and others. In 2003 BloodRelated had the privilege of being the first hip hop group to ever perform at InterVarsity's Urbana Conference, which is a student missions conference that draws 20,000 students and is held every three years. In 2005 due to personal and professional advancement, A.N.T. pursued a solo career.
In 2007, with a renewed fervor and supportive cast A.N.T. launched a new standard of music that is targeted at mind,body and soul. A.N.T. has performed extensively throughout the Midwest. A.N.T. is confident that with a positive and thought provoking message, it 's not a question of if you'll hear this, only when.

A.N.T.'s music is a breath of fresh air amidst the smog and pollution of mainstream hip-hop. Real hip hop that is spiritual, lyrical, and thought provoking. The music is substance wit' a hook.
