METAIRIE, LA – May 2nd, 2018 – Original, relatable and conscious: three words that have widely been used by music critics and fans alike to describe A.P.’s work. Born Aaron Parquet in Washing, D.C and raised in New Orleans, LA, A.P.’s first single, Determination, was recently released on major music streaming platforms, much to the delight of fans looking for fresh talent in the rap/hip hop scene.
Contrary to most contemporary performers, A.P. is not one to promote the concept of getting rich fast while using any means possible to achieve this goal, or that of living a reckless life marked by partying and showcasing wealth, all while having little to no awareness of the world at large. Instead, A.P. has made it his mission to bring awareness to his generation about the importance of working hard for what they want – and the great pleasure that comes with enjoying the fruits of one’s own labor.
