Bio
Advocates 4The King (A4K), a male rap group comprising of Mr. Kross and Klay began their journey in January of 2003. Taking turns rapping 16 bars at a Super Bowl party, the two realized they would make a dynamic duo. After 9 months of discussion A4K was birthed into existence.
Attending the same church in Philadelphia, PA, and both being football players, the two had things in common that established their friendship, as well as, partnership. Mr. Kross, Andrew Howard (13), is an athletic 8th grader who had no idea that his agreement to create a rap group would lead to ministry. Klay, Khristian Mayfield (15), is an 11th grader who enjoys various performing arts; this gave him the drive to press forward with pursuing bookings for public exposure. Since that time A4K has been featured in Philadelphias Tribune Newspaper, selected as finalist alternates among 85 competitors of Gospel Dreams Talent Search, and their single Party Time has been played on WDAS 1310AM. Developing in music ministry, A4K has performed as the opening act for recording artists Canton Jones, Generation J, and Philadelphias very own T-Wyse and Infinity. They have recently released their second CD sampler titled The Search with 4 blazing tracks and are currently working on their 1st album project for release in Summer 2006. Committed to the ministry, A4K will continue to produce music that focuses on changing the hearts and minds of people toward God.
