Aag, the critically acclaimed Pakistani Alternative/Pop-Rock/Synth band, has been captivating audiences since its formation in 2006. Led by the talented musicians Haroon Sheikh and Usman Sheikh, the band has released several hit singles and an album 'Aik' which has earned them a dedicated fan following. Recognized for their talents, Aag has been praised as one of the leading rock acts in South East Asia by BBC Radio UK in 2011.

The band's cover of Imran Khan's "Bewafa" and Junoon's "Mitti" have become iconic songs, bringing them mainstream recognition and solidifying their place in the Pakistani music scene. Haroon Sheikh and Usman Sheikh's contributions as lead vocalist and drummer respectively, have been instrumental in the band's success. Aag has also performed at notable live music shows such as Nescafe Basement, Levi's Live and VELO Sound Station, further establishing their reputation as a beloved and influential force in the music industry.

With ongoing tours and new music, Aag continues to leave a lasting impact on the music scene, and their dedication to producing quality music is evident in their work.

    Haroon Sheikh:

    Haroon Sheikh, widely recognized as the lead vocalist, self-taught guitarist, and songwriter of the highly acclaimed band Aag, has been a captivating musical presence since his early years. Growing up partly in Saudi Arabia and partly in Lahore, Pakistan, Haroon navigated diverse challenges, using his innate guitar talent to earn recognition from his peers.

    Motivated by a vision to showcase Pakistani music globally, Haroon founded Aag, aiming to represent the rich musical heritage of Pakistan. After graduating from the National College of Arts in Lahore, he furthered his creative pursuits, exploring the visual dimensions of music and acquiring skills in directing music videos. Following his academic journey, Haroon established his studio, Ebullition Art Recordings.

    In his role as a producer, Haroon has recorded numerous artists, including Aag's album "Aik." Over the years, he has actively supported and nurtured young talents, showcasing a commitment to fostering the growth of the music industry. His dedication to musical excellence led to his co-production role in the success of the acclaimed music show, Velo Sound Station. Throughout his career, Haroon has navigated challenges with unwavering dedication, consistently pushing the boundaries of Pakistani music. Today, he stands as one of the most respected musicians in the country, with his self-taught mastery of the guitar and his contributions as a producer underscoring his enduring commitment to the art form.

    Usman Sheikh:

    Usman Sheikh, a renowned Pakistani musician and producer, has made a significant impact in the Pakistani music industry with his exceptional skills as a drummer and producer. Growing up listening to bands like Def Leppard & The Beatles, Usman developed a love for rock music at a young age. It wasn't until he saw the Tom Hanks movie "That Thing You Do" that he knew that "playing drums was the coolest thing a human being could ever do". Despite facing the cultural taboo against musicians in Saudi Arabia, Usman never gave up on his passion and honed his skills by practicing tirelessly. He particularly related to punk, metal, and progressive rock bands.

    Usman's musical journey led him to join the critically acclaimed band Aag, where he became a core member of the band and also co-founded the renowned studio Ebullition Art Recordings with his brother Haroon Sheikh. Together, they produced the hit album "Aik" which was a major milestone in their career, adding a new dimension to the Pakistani music scene. Usman's exceptional production skills have been recognized by industry experts and music lovers alike.

    He has been a significant part of several successful music TV shows, including being an associate music producer and artist for the three seasons of Nescafe Basement, whose performances reached a global audience. One of his notable achievements was his cover of Guns N' Roses' hit "Sweet Child O' Mine" on Nescafe Basement, which became extremely popular among music lovers. He was also a co-producer on VELO Sound Station and his performances on Levi's Live were also well-received and praised. Usman's dedication to his craft, passion for music, and unique style have made him an influential figure in the Pakistani music industry.
