Against All Odds

Over the past 13 months, Against All Odds has stopped at nothing in order to make their mark on the Canadian hardcore/metal scene, and people have quickly taken notice to their efforts. While the members are spread out across the province ranging from Ottawa to St.Catharines, as some are full time students, they have demonstrated their ability to easily balance their passion for music as well as other interests, and this has proven fruitful for them when examining their achievements so far. AAO has quickly identified themselves as providing a unique approach to the post-hardcore/metal genres and have demonstrated that they are not afraid to stand tall in providing something different. The band has also created a unique dynamic during their live performances which has garnered them a lot of attention from old and new fans. Their approach mixes a passionate love for their music and also a refreshing sense of humour as they banter between each other displaying their lighter side. AAO has also proven to be very dedicated to their fans by not only personally interacting with them but by giving back with free memorabilia such as Cd's and t shirts. Their fans have quickly become very loyal and have played a large part in the development and growth of the band as a whole.

This past summer AAO have been working closely with Adam Newcomb from Newcomb Studios in order to release a brand new EP in the beginning of fall. This EP will represent how much the band has grown musically as well as personally. Following this EP release, expect the band to be playing in a city near you in order to support their new release.
