Bio

Aaron grew up in a small town in south Texas. He began playing guitar at a young age and discovered he had a serious interest in music. After attending Texas A&M University where he studied music theory, he decided to move to Austin, Texas. As an aspiring lead guitarist, he began playing in several bands, some of which included Hush, Ten Percenter, Abra Moore (Arista Records) and Dan Dyer (Warner/Reprise). Ten Percenter was a three-year explosion of aggressive, alternative, indie style, rock. With multiple plays on Austin’s KROX 101.5 Ten Percenter were fortunate to open for the likes of The Goo Goo Dolls, Candlebox and The Deftones. As Abra Moore’s guitarist, Aaron toured the United States and Canada and was a featured act on The Lilith Fair festival in 1998.

In the summer of 2000 Aaron recorded his first solo EP entitled ‘Pilot’ which was mixed and produced by Mark Addison at his studio in Austin. Shortly after he formed the group Active Radio. The group independently released their debut LP entitled ‘Frequency’ in 2004 and had a hit single on Austin’s KROX 101.5 with the song ‘Daffodil’.

In 2005 Aaron was offered another opportunity to tour the country with a major label artist.  Aaron was lead guitarist for The Dan Dyer Band (Warner/Reprise), on tour in support of his debut album "Of What Lies Beneath" produced by Lenny Kravitz.

In 2007 Aaron joined forces with Mark Younger-Smith (Billy Idol) and producer Keith Forsey (Blondie, Billy Idol, INXS) to write and record songs for a project called "Murder My Sweet". The band performed in Austin and Los Angeles. The self-titled LP was never released but received high acclaim. The project disbanded in 2010.

In 2011 Aaron made the move to New York City. Upon arriving, he immediately began networking and performing in some of New York's well known venues. While writing songs is his main focus, he continues to perform with other artists as well as record and release his own music. Most recently, his single "Western Moon" was released in 2014 on iTunes.

Aaron is an active member of the Nashville Songwriters Association International.
