Endearing Records is pleased to announce the signing of AARON BOOTH to the label.OUR LAST ESCAPE will be the follow-up to the critically acclaimed top ten college radio fixture TRANSPARENT.

Since the release of TRANSPARENT in June 2002, Aaron has toured Canada twice with members of Snailhouse, The Weakerthans, and The Arcade Fire backing him up. OUR LAST ESCAPE was recorded with Dave Draves (producer of KATHLEEN EDWARDS and JULIE DOIRON) at Little Bullhorn, Ottawa with the supporting cast of Jeremy Gara (THE ARCADE FIRE) on drums, Mike Shultz on trombone, and Mike Feuerstack (SNAILHOUSE) on lapsteel. In contrast to Transparent, it focuses less on folk melancholia and more on pop melodia. With Aaron's own contributions of vocals, guitar, bass, piano, keyboards, and vibraphone OUR LAST ESCAPE finds the artist at the height of his songwriting prowess and boasts the kind of confidence only constant touring can bring.

With a long history of bedroom recording, Aaron writes, arranges, performs and records his songs at home before entering the studio to create the final versions of his album tracks. Aaron has shared stages with Richard Buckner, John Frusciante, Carolyn Mark, Veda Hille, The Sadies, Julie Doiron and his live band has included members of The Weakerthans, Kepler, The Arcade Fire and Snailhouse. Fall Over Me Satellite, track 2 of OLE will appear on the Party Of Five, Season 1 DVD.
