Aaron Brown takes great pride in writing songs and studying the art of songwriting in many different genres which include Rock (Pop-rock & Alternative), Country, R&B, Adult Contemporary, Dance, Latin, and more.
One of the first songs that he has ever written, "She Fills My Heart", has been played on over 25 Top 40 Hot AC and CHR radio stations across the country as a demo. It was receiving 10-25 spins per week on different stations and it climbed up to #4 in Montana on KLTZ Mix 93's playlist. For a 3 month radio promotion the song did well, being from his unknown and unsigned band called "Soul Custody", which he formed with a skillful singer named Chris Forry.
Towards the end of 2006, Aaron decided to move to Nashville, TN from Los Angeles to learn and study the songwriting craft in more depth.
The songs he writes hope to capture a real and heartfelt quality to them making them comes across as authentic and memorable.
Aaron has recieved three Honorable Mention Awards from the 13th and 14th Annual Billboard World Songwriting Contest for his songs "She Fills My Heart", "I Don't Want It", and "Don't Say Goodbye, Say Goodnight". His songs have also received airplay on the following independent online radio shows, the "On The Horizon" Radio show and the "Indie Lime Light Radio Show". The song called "Don't Say Goodbye, Say Goodnight" which he co-wrote with Chris Forry, has been included on the Paramount Group's "Catch A Rising Star" best of 2006 CD. Recently, he was named a finalist in the 2009 Great American Song Contest for "Heart On My Windshield".
His biggest inspirations for music include the Beatles, Bon Jovi, Diane Warren, Michael Jackson, Keith Urban, Desmond Child, Maroon 5, Stevie Wonder, and Rob Thomas of Matchbox Twenty to name a few.
Aaron Brown is currently writing songs in many genres to establish himself as a unique and versatile songwriter. He desires to inspire others with the many songs in his catalog and will continue his passion to write great songs for the overall joy of it and also in the pursuit of a successful career.
