"Hi Def Emerges as Winner Joined by Just Cause to Advance to Semifinals"

The bravest and most noble performance of the night and probably the whole competition was by Aaron Cuadra.Aaron performed on acoustic guitar with both rock and modern country songs, which shows how diverse he can be since the group usually plays a harder sound. This guy has the potential to make it as a soloist if things don't work out with Number 4. If things don't get better, it will be Number 4's lost, not Aaron's. Many people came early for other bands increasing Aaron's fan base, and they gave this front man a warm reception and remarked on how good he was. - LAMUSICSCENE.COM

"Club Reviews"

“Number4 performs songs of love and pain with a cavity-searching sound that reminds listeners why they go to live shows. They have built a crowd-pleasing repertoire, ranging from moody shouters to fine ballads performed solo by Aaron Cuadra.

This trio boldly travels in a melodic rock teritory easily beset by cliche, but sets itself apart from the surfeit of angst rock through the power of Cuadra's voice. When he sings "I hear a voice, pulling my hand," he could be talking about the persuasive resonance of his own pipes.

Fattened by a but of tasteful sustain, Cuadra's voice evokes Eddy Vedder's raging baritone. It is when his more sensitive vibrato resonates, however, that his vocals display distinctiveness they need to stand out. Cuadra also acquits himself well on guitar, crafting crystal-clear chord changes and arpeggios.

Simply attired in jeans and a casual western shirt, Cuadra exuded the sensual charisma of someone who has a hold on something bigger than himself: a truly beautiful voice.

These musicians have a polished sound and a growing fanbase. Without being obnoxious, Number4 promotes tirelessly during their show, tossing tee shirts into the crowd and exhorting folks to joing their growing mailing last. With this kind of work ethic, it is likely the band will continue to claim fans.
