Music for road trips on desolate highways. I have always wanted to create the ultimate road album and sound. I love the loneliness and isolation that one can only get from driving endless amounts of miles on the highway.

Biography

I think music was always an expression of the isolation I felt in automobiles, and growing up in Los Angeles. Los Angeles is such a lonely city. Behind my house that I grew up in, are the hills where they filmed episodes of Gun Smoke, and some classic Clint Eastwood movies. I love Ennio Morricone soundtracks and nautical songs, and I love Woody Guthrie, Hank Williams, the Pixies, Jonathan Richman, and Daniel Johsnton. I also love townes Van Zandt. He has a lonely soul.

Lyrics

Stranger

Written By: Aaron Feinstein

There's a road, there's a road,
there's a long and angry road
To the mountains, where I will go
and bide my time with a cold dark stare.

Drive all night, drive all night
electric lights at night
and I'll look down to the bottom
thats where my family and lovers lay.

I'm a stranger, just a stranger
and I wish I could be here
and be right on the inside
I'm alone but I'm not sad
I'm alone but I'm not scared

There's a man, there's a man
He gives his room for free
He's got no face, but he's got hands
that gently slide the latch and slip the key

The room is bare, the room is bare
One table and four chairs
And I will stare, and I will stare
and play my life and arrange the chairs

I'm a stranger, just a stranger
and I wish I could be here
and be right on the inside
I'm alone but I'm not sad
I'm alone but I'm not scared
(repeat)
