"Touch the Sky Re-releases Kindred Spirits"

This music was inspired, written and created for one of God’s most incredible creatures; the wolf.

This CD [Kindred Spirits] is special to me because the songs are dedicated to individual animals here
at the center. And if you close your eyes and listen, you will be able to hear their story.

"RadioIndy Review of "Kindred Spirits" CD"

Kindred Spirits" by Aaron Lawrence is a unique and intriguing approach to ambient/new age music. Gathering inspiration from the mystic creature known as the wolf, Aaron's Native American compositions demonstrate a great talent for creating tunes that are pacifying and spiritual in nature. Appropriately mixed with sounds of nature (such as the sounds of waterfall in "Stream Song" and wolves crying in "Choir Practice"), these tunes carry about a new dimension of unrestricted life. When all is said and done, it is easy to see that this CD successfully connects with listeners on a deep spiritual level.

"Reviews \\ Aaron Lawrence - Kindred Spirits"

Released: 3rd February 2008
Label: Touch The Sky Productions

Aaron Lawrence is a man with a passion. Not for football, or pizza, or driving fast, no. Wolves.

With close ties to the Colorado Wolf & Wildlife Center, Aaron Lawrence creates a wholeheartedly native American sound with flute, keyboard and percussion, combined with nature's sound effects - singing birds, running water, crickets, howling wolves and other such wildlife. This is not meant to be music for the charts, this is not music that you will hear on MTV, this is relaxed, natural music by a passionate man in touch with his spirit.

Lyrics in Kindred Spirits are spoken, thanking the Lord for animals and wildlife against a flute backdrop and singing wolves, conjuring up images of man sitting alone on a rock, playing a flute and looking out over a meadow where a few cattle graze.

Pan-pipe enthusiasts should take note, this highly native sound is not dissimilar. Aaron Lawrence creates a deep, spiritual, relaxed and contented mood that sends the listener into a calmer, more soothed world.

And the most commendable thing about Aaron Lawrence is that he donates a portion of everything me makes from his music to the Colorado Wolf & Wildlife Center. Respect.

Long live Colorado.

"Dmitry Shakin, Host of"

If you asked for my personal opinion, I would say that this music is really something extraordinary since it has an ability to break down all the barriers helping us to understand each other better.

This wonderful, mystical and very expressive music comes directly from the heart. If I were asked to describe it with three words, I would say “beautiful, peaceful and, more important, happy”. That’s why I enjoy listening to it and telling my audience about it.

Discography

The Kindred Spirits CD was originally released in 2004 as a locally sold CD to benefit the Colorado Wolf & Wildlife Center. It did so well locally, that when Aaron lost his producer in 2005, he decided to found his own label as an independent musician. Once this was accomplished in 2006, the first project was to remaster and re-release Kindred Spirits which was released August 11, 2007.
Smoke (smudge song) is available on the Oasis Ambient sampler, and was featured at the Jack Hannah presentation at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO. It also won the RadioIndy Gold Artist Award in November 2007.
Long Road Home was featured in the Colorado Wolf & Wildlife Center's infomercial, and special on wild canids.
In September of 2007, Kindred Spirits was requested for airplay on the "Voices of the Planet" radio show broadcast from Vladivostok, Russia. Of course, a disk was immediately sent.
Kindred Spirits is now playing on radio in 7 countries through Europe, Russia, Australia, South America, and Asia.
